Coronation StreetDaniel Osbourne fears for his family’s safety next week as stalker Justin Rutherford continues to make creepy visits to the cobblestones.
Daniel’s fiancée, Daisy Midgeley, has been repeatedly harassed by Justin in recent weeks, but has struggled to get the police to take her seriously when she reports his appalling behaviour.
This week’s episodes see Daisy’s ordeal escalate further when she argues with Justin in the street.
Justin puts his hand on Daisy’s arm and she hits him back. The newcomer to the show then proves how manipulative he can be as he reports Daisy to the police for assault and has her arrested.

As a result of this incident, next week’s episodes see Daisy trying to focus on the future by making plans for her upcoming wedding.
A catering company sends Daisy some wedding cake samples for her approval.
Daisy, Daniel, Ken Barlow, Jenny Connor and Gemma Winter gather for the cake tasting.
Unfortunately, the mood turns sour when Justin is the person bringing the samples. Justin recently got a job as a delivery driver in Weatherfield, which Daisy guessed was another attempt to get to her.

Last week, Coronation StreetProducer Iain MacLeod appeared on ITV1 Relaxed women and talked about the future of Daisy’s story, which will continue to run until her wedding day in a few weeks.
MacLeod said: “It’s a soapy marriage – when are they going to go smoothly, so to speak.
“Obviously the story that starts now, with Daisy experiencing this stalker, will continue until the wedding day. That will be part of the drama that will take place around the wedding.
“But I think Daniel and Daisy are for keeps. No spoilers, but even if the wedding doesn’t go completely according to plan, I think in the long run it’s a couple I’m really invested in.”
