Coronation Street confirmed that there will be a returning character in Faye Windass’ story.
Earlier this week, Faye revealed to Sally that Jackson Hodge has been trying to contact her and is set to return to the pavement next week.
The scenes open with Tim confronting Faye about the growing distance between the pair, a strain they try to remedy by going on a night out together.

She is then surprised to receive a text from Jackson and tries to hide it from her father.
Later in the week, Jackson arrives at the house and introduces himself to Tim and Sally, explaining that he is Miley’s father and that they have been trying to contact Faye since they moved to the UK.
Confused by Faye’s actions, Tim tries to understand why she avoided Jackson and is shocked to discover that she wants nothing to do with her daughter.
Jackson previously left the UK in 2017, traveling to Canada with his family and daughter after Faye struggled to bond with her.
Joseph Williams Evans, previously played by Rhys Cadman, will now take over the role of the character for future episodes.

Jackson is not alone Corey the return we have seen recently as Shona has just returnedafter some time away.
Julia Goulding, who took a short break for maternity leave, has spoken of how excited she is to be shooting Shona scenes again.
“It’s great. My husband is on paternity leave as we do shared parental leave,” she explained. “I got to come to work and have a real hot cup of tea without a kid hanging over me.
“It’s really nice to be able to sit in the green room and have a brew and a conversation. Not that I don’t like being at home at all, because I do… But it’s nice to have that drink,” he continued.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and broadcast on ITVX.
