The first look at Marvel stars Taika Waititi and Kumail Nanjiani in the new comic series HHistory of the World Part II has arrived
The sitcom from Hulu is a sequel to the classic Mel Brooks sitcom History of the World, Part Iwhich put a loose spin on historical events such as the Spanish Inquisition and the French Revolution.
Legendary comedian Brooks presents new footage from the series, where the parodies range from biblical times to the great 1960s.

Eagle-eyed viewers will be able to spot Seth Rogen as Noah on his ark, Joker 2Zazie Beetz as Mary Magdalene, ProgenyDove Cameron as Princess Anastasia of Russia, HacksHannah Einbinder as aviator Amelia Earhart and Taika Waititi as Dr Sigmund Freud.
The impressive parade of guest stars continues with appearances from Frostedby josh gatt, The good part‘s D’Arcy Carden, Primary school abbotTyler James Williams and Quinta Branson, It’s always sunnyDanny DeVito and Love, VictorNick Robinson, among many others.
The recurring core trio throughout the series will be stand-up comedy icon Wanda Sykes, Big mouthNick Kroll and The AfterpartyIke Barinholtz — all also wrote in the series.
Mel Brooks’ original 1981 comedy History of the World, Part I it was critically panned at the time of release, despite its own stellar cast for the time, yet its cult following has grown over the decades.

Brooks returns as both writer and executive producer on its TV version History of the Worldalong with the trio of stars mentioned above and David Stassen, Kevin Salter and Christie Smith.
History of the World Part II debuts in two episodes on Hulu in the US on Monday, March 6, with two episodes per day winding down to the finale on Thursday, March 9.
