Octopath Traveler 2 Side Jobs Guild Locations

In Octopath Traveler 2each of the eight characters can get one secondary employment to get more stats, learn some extra skills, and unlock entirely new playstyles. Some job combinations are particularly powerful, so you should make sure to unlock all the side jobs as soon as possible.

To assign a character a secondary task, you need a work permitwhich you can find from the corresponding work guild. Initially, each side job can be equipped with a character. This means that if you made the Mosque secondary, you cannot make anyone else secondary. However, as you meet certain requirements, you can get up to three work permits, so up to three characters can have the same side job.

You won’t unlock side quests right away, as all guilds are located in areas that are hazard level 30 or higher (or require you to go through hazard 30 areas).

All guilds are also located in the same part of the world that the character unlocks with this main job. For example, you unlock both Castti and the Apothecary side job in Harborlands. Although there are several maps between the two unlockable cities, they are located in the same part of the map.

You’ll see a checkered banner icon on your radar when you’re on the same map as a battalion, so you can just head to that icon to find the battalion.

There are also four secret tasks to unlock, but they work quite differently from normal side tasks. These secret jobs won’t show up on your radar, and you only get one work permit for each.

Below, we list the location of all the normal secondary job guilds.

Warrior side job

Thief secondary job

The thieves’ guild is located in the northern part of Clockbank, with an entrance down a path. You can find the thieves in there only at night.

Hunter side job

The hunter’s guild is located in the center of the Western Mode of Hopu Traverse in the north. To find the guild leader, you will need to go through a thick tree.

Secondary office job location

The cleric guild is located in a church in the northeastern part of Borderfall, across a bridge. The door at the back of the church also leads to the clergy altar.

Scholar secondary job location

This building houses the scholars’ guild and is located in the northwestern part of the Western Winterbloom Snows.

Pharmacy secondary job position

Merchant secondary job location
