Robinhood, Polygon, 0x Labs Simplifies Crypto Trading

Decentralized exchange infrastructure protocol 0x Labs on Wednesday announced the beta release of its Tx Relay API on Polygon and Ethereum. Meanwhile, crypto trading platform Robinhood announces that its Robinhood wallet now supports both Polygon and Ethereum and is now available to iOS customers worldwide. Robinhood Wallet is the first to leverage the Tx Relay API by 0x.

0x Laboratories in a tweet on March 1 said that the new Tx Relay API is powering crypto transactions on the Robinhood wallet. It allows users to transact without the complexity of loading wallets on multiple blockchains.

“We are excited to announce that 0x’s new Tx Relay API is powering crypto transactions on Robin Hood Wallet! Robinhood users can trade crypto with no network fee Polygon.”

The company noted that customers must own each blockchain’s native token to pay for transactions. It is the biggest complexity in web3. 0x Labs’ Tx Relay API takes the hassle out of preloading wallets, moving balances between apps, and sending tokens between addresses to initiate transactions.

The Tx Relay API allows developers to provide better cryptographic experiences by creating more flexible user interfaces. This helps improve adoption in the Web3 ecosystem.

0x Labs said that the Tx Relay API has many advantages, such as improving integration and conversion with transactions with any token and protection against maximum extractable value (MEV). It also includes enabling deep liquidity through market makers and 70+ crypto exchanges and compounding capability with the Swap API.
