Shibarium Group’s long-awaited Shiba Inu (SHIB) layer-2 blockchain has launched a portal dedicated to boosting adoption of the new network.
The ‘Join Shibarium’ portal is designed to be a hub for developers, content creators, business owners and job seekers who want to contribute to the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama hopes the new site will make it easier for anyone interested in developing Shibarium to collaborate.
“Ideally, this recruitment system will allow us to find the best projects and connect them with others who can help or help. It will allow us to meet the army and stay organized in the process.
It will allow us to increase Shibarium’s reach with professional companies and allow us to re-establish our relationships with businesses we have been associated with in the past. Finally, it will help us find the right validators.”
Shibarium is designed to be similar to other layer 2 scaling solutions such as Polygon (MATIC).
The new network will allow developers to create custom tokens within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It is also expected to significantly speed up transaction speeds and reduce gas fees.
As Shibarium prepares for an upcoming beta launch, Kusama is also sending out an alert to crypto traders, warning them to be on the lookout for new tokens being released on the nascent network.
“Important reminder: During the beta, all tokens and products on the beta network are for testing purposes ONLY. Don’t be fooled and buy anything you find on Shibarium until the main Shibarium network is released.
The beta version of Shibarium is expected to be released next week. No release date has been set for the official release.
