The future of the Goldbergs was revealed after season 10

The Goldbergs ends after ten seasons.

Inspired by the life of its creator Adam F Goldberg, the sitcom follows the life of a young boy and his strange family dynamics in 1980s Pennsylvania.

The series first aired on ABC in 2013 and is now the network’s longest-running scripted sitcom, but fans will say goodbye to the title family when the season 10 finale airs on May 3.

The GoldbergsThe official Instagram account shared a poster for the latest batch of episodes, along with the caption: “After 10 seasons of hugs and chills, #TheGoldbergs say goodbye.

“It’s been an incredible journey, filled with laughter, tears and some seriously epic ’80s style. Join us in celebrating the final episodes.”

Wendi McLendon-Covey (who plays Beverley and is also an executive producer), said in her own statement: “It was an honor to be a part of The Goldbergs for the last decade. I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished with the show and I’m so lucky to have had such a rewarding experience.”

The actress continued: “I will miss my TV family and every last member of the crew. Thanks to our brilliant writers for giving us thoughtful stories year after year and for being so cooperative.

“Thank you to the best EPs in the business. And thank you to all our (Goldnerds) fans for being so sweet and supportive. My heart is full…But I sure hope I don’t see another pair of shoulder pads for the rest of my life.”

The Goldbergs Also starring Sean Giambrone as Adam, Troy Gentile as Barry, Hayley Orrantia as Erica and Jeff Garlin as Murray.

The Goldbergs Season 10 airs on ABC.
