Stranger Things the protagonist Finn Wolfhard and Euphoria Actress Hunter Schafer is among several celebrities confirmed as presenters at this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The annual event will take place on March 4 in Tokyo, with fans around the world able to watch the show live on the Crunchyroll YouTube and Twitch channels starting at 1:30 p.m. PST (9:30 p.m. UK time).
Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules on HBO’s; Euphoriahas spoken in interviews about her love of anime (esp Neon Genesis Evangelion) and was the voice actor in the 2021 English dub Beauty.

Stranger ThingsFinn Wolfhard is also a devoted fan and named the iconic series Death note as his favorite during promotion Pinocchio with Guillermo Del Toro.
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the largest event of its kind, will be hosted by voice actress Sally Amaki and entertainer Jon Kabira.
Other celebrities who joined Schafer and Wolfhard to present awards include NFL players Aidan Hutchinson and Juju Smith-Schuster. Cobra Kai starring Jacob Bertrand, director Robert Rodriguez, WWE performer Zelina Vega, and Twitch streamers Sykkuno and Valkyrae.

Anime Awards 2023 marks the seventh edition of the event, having first been presented in January 2017. It features two rounds of voting. with an electoral body drawing up the initial lists, before public voting begins in the weeks leading up to the event.
Last year, Attack on Titan’s Final Season: Part 1 won Anime of the Year, with previous winners including Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer.
March is expected to be a big month for anime fans in general, with the highly anticipated Demon Slayer Season 3 will premiere in theaters on March 9.
