Trish Stratus returns to WWE on Raw and catches the attention of Cardi B

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus returned on Monday night (February 27), helping Lita and Becky Lynch win the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

In the main event of Raw, Lita and Becky faced the team of Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL and IYO SKY, with the Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line. But during the match, Kai and Skye’s sidekick Bayley kept trying to interfere, putting the challengers at a huge disadvantage.

However, after Bayley tried once more to help the champions, Stratus appeared to have an even chance. WWE fans were excited to see Stratus return, including rapper Cardi B, who took to Twitter to share her reaction.

Cardi tweeted: “Lita & Trish ? What’s going on???!!!!” This isn’t the first time the rapper has tweeted about WWE.

In January 2021, Cardi was dropped by Torrie Wilson on an episode of Raw, causing Cardi’s Twitter mentions to skyrocket.

After watching the clip, Cardi tweeted.

Cardi went on to share that she used to watch WWE when she was younger after being asked if she was a fan of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

“Noooo I was still really young when it was,” Cardi replied. “I started watching when Booka T, Eddie gurrero, triple H, batista, John cena, Edge, Melina, Trish stratus, Lina ETC came on!”

Stratus last appeared on WWE television in August 2022 when she participated in a segment with Bayley, Kai and SKY. Her last match in WWE was at SummerSlam 2019 when she faced Charlotte Flair.
