EastEnders will not air tonight (March 1) as the show faces more scheduling changes.
As we know, the BBC One soap is usually a permanent fixture in the Tuesday and Wednesday night schedules, but it has been pulled again in favor of football.
Instead, FA Cup coverage kicked off on BBC One from 7.30pm last night as Fulham take on Leeds United in the fifth round.
The bad news is that EastEnders It won’t be shown tonight (March 1) either, with Sheffield United taking on Tottenham Hotspur on the channel.
It’s the second time this month EastEnders faced schedule changes due to football.
However, fans were treated to two helpings of the Walford drama on Monday night and the soap will return on Thursday (March 2).
A special Friday episode is also planned for 3rd of Marchmeaning that there will still be the same amount of production throughout the week.
Monday’s double episode saw Whitney and Zack make the difficult decision to terminate for medical reasons after learning their unborn baby had Edwards syndrome.
Thursday’s scenes will explore the aftermath of this as Whitney pushes her loved ones away as she continues to be supported by Zack.
Also on Thursday, Eva isn’t sure what to do when she receives an invitation to Sookie’s wedding blessing ceremony.
When Sookie then overhears Nish and Ravi talking about Mitch, a furious family feud ensues. Sookie later tries to reassure Nish that he is the only man for her, but will she be convinced?
EastEnders airs Monday-Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show is also streaming on BBC iPlayer, with first-look episodes dropping at 6am.
